I didn’t bring any of the costumes with us to Turkey, so I don’t have a new picture this year. Plus, it just wouldn’t be the same without Duke in the picture.

Here is a throw back picture from Duke’s first Halloween.

He was only 5 months old and so little, for a lab. He wasn’t sure what to think of the pumpkin. Boy, we sure do miss him! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Since it is Halloween, I am treating myself to one of these…

It is not something I eat all the time, but definitely one of my favorites!

We started our morning with a 5 mile run, since Rob had to work late. Itย ended up not being our best run, but definitely not our worst. The run itself didn’t feel hard, but neither one of us was feeling 100 percent. Rob was sore from some upper body work he did yesterday and my stomach wasn’t feeling well this morning. We made it through the run though and it really wasn’t that much slower than some other days. The weather was great this morning too. Not cold out there at all. It was probably in the 60’s.

Here are our splits for today’s run:

1— 9:17
2— 9:26
3— 9:12
4— 9:15
5— 9:07

Average pace: 9:15

Not a horrible run to finish out the month of October with 140.1 miles!

Someone knows when it is time for daddy to be home.

I am not sure how she does it, but she always goes over by the door around the same time as Rob gets home. She is so smart!
